Diagnosis. This species resembles L. sinuata in having a pair of dorsomesally directed processes on the pygofer but is easily distinguished by the unpaired ventral process articulated to the aedeagal preatrium and fused to the connective, and by the quadrate female seventh sternite with weakly notched median posterior lobe.
Description. Body length of male 4.5–5.0 mm, female 6.0– 6.3 mm. Head in dorsal view with crown slightly longer medially than next to eye, 1.7× wider at base than medial length. Male pygofer ~3.0× longer than maximum height, ventral spine well developed, extended dorsomesad and slightly posterad. Subgenital plate extended to midlength of pygofer, laterally convex basal section much shorter than concave distal section. Style relatively short and slender, preapical lobe weakly developed, apex tapered and abruptly bent laterad.Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme moderately long and slender, expanded dorsad in lateral view; basal process movably articulated to ventral part of atrium, robust, larger than shaft, extended posterad and gradually tapered to sharp apex, curved asymmetrically laterad; shaft slender, acuminate, evenly curved dorsad; gonopore apical. Female sternite VII slightly wider than long, lateral margins subparallel, posterior margin with short medial lobe slightly indented at middle and marked with arcuate brown macula.
Etymology. The species name refers to the basal process that is articulated to the rest of the aedeagus.
