Note: the female of Ixodes ugandanus djaronensis in Nuttall and Warburton (1911) is treated as a new species in Morel (1965a), later named Ixodes brumpti in Morel (1965c) , while Keirans (1985c) considered the female specimen in Nuttall and Warburton (1911) to represent Ixodes procaviae .
