Type species: Ocinara situla van Eecke, 1929 , by original designation.
Diagnosis. Adults white or pale grey. In male genitalia, uncus digitate with sub-basal dorsal processes in the shape of caudad-directed horns; gnathos long, curved; socii present; valva simple, curved, attached with a single point; vinculum with two caudad directed robust processes with toothed ends; saccus well developed; aedeagus straight, thin, with numerous fine cornuti. Sternite 8 th with posterior margin deeply bifid, bearing two pairs of differentlysized and shaped projections; anterior margin with two elongate, distally swollen processes. Tergite 8 th goblet-shaped, anterior margin with two acute bars extending outwards ( Dierl 1978).
Distribution. India (present study), Sumatra, Vietnam, Thailand, southern China (Yunnan), Myanmar ( Wang et al. 2015).
