Distribution. Russia (North Caucasus [ ssp. austriacum Ebmer, 1974 ], Siberia, Far East [nominate subspecies]); Europe, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan [ ssp. austriacum Ebmer, 1974 ]; Mongolia, North Korea, northern China [nominate subspecies] ( Ebmer 1988, 1995, 2005).
Remarks. In the North Caucasus this species is recorded only in mountains.
