Lectotype (Mabberley in Telopea 7: 170. 1997): [icon] " Malus arantia, fructu rotundo maximo pallescente humanum caput excedente " in Sloane, Voy. Jamaica 1: 41, t. 12, f. 2, 3. 1707. - Typotype: Herb. Sloane 7: 115 ( BM-SL) .

Current name: Citrus maxima (Burm.) Merr. View in CoL ( Rutaceae ).

Note: Specific epithet spelled “decumanus” in the protologue. A nomen novum for the illegitimate Citrus aurantium var. decumana L. (1763) .
