Material examined. CHINA: SICHUAN: 1 ♀: Guan County, Balang Shan , ca. 15 km SW Wolong. ca. 2300 m a.s.l., mountain stream, 5–10 m wide (river bed up to 50 m wide), crystalline gravel and sand, very fast flowing and very cold. 01.08.1998. L. Ji, H. Schönmann & M. Wang [CWBS 342]. ( NMW) .
Remarks. Hygrodromicus shaanxiensis was originally described from Qinling Mts., Shaanxi. It is here recorded from Sichuan for the first time.
