Type material. Holotype ( Figs 9 View Figures 9–16 , 38 View Figures 38–41 ): male, “ XI.2012, | South Vietnam, | Lâm Đồng Province , | Lạc DƯƠng District , | Tây Nguyên Highlands , | Bidoup Nui- Ba NP, | local collector leg. | Coll. A. V. Volynkin ” / “ Slide | AV1634 ♂ | A. Volynkin ” ( CAV).
Paratypes. VIETNAM: 1 female , same data as holotype, gen. prep. No. : AV2404 ♀ ( CAV) ; 1 male, 1 female, 3–14.VIII.2013, Th ừa Thiên Hu ế province, Annamite Range, B ạch Mã NP, 1400m, local collector leg., gen. prep. Nos. : AV7541 ♂, AV7542 ♀ ( CAV) .
Diagnosis. The forewing length is 14.5–15.0 mm in males and 16.0–18.0 mm in females. Collitoptyx annamia sp. n. can easily be distinguished from its congeners by the medial spot of the forewing fused with the subbasal one and forming a large black area occupying most of the forewing posteriorly. The male genitalia of the new species are similar to C. fraterna sp. n. but differ in the shorter ventral lateral protrusions of the vinculum, the narrower valva with a proximally narrower valvula, the narrower sacculus with a proximally narrower and somewhat longer dorsal process, the larger apical gelatinous process of the lamella centralis, and the reduced basal section of the vesica making the ventral diverticulum situated subbasally (vs. medial position in the congener). The female genitalia of the two species are very similar but in C. annamia sp. n. the posterior section of the corpus bursae is shorter and has a narrower sclerotised protrusion situated ventrally (vs. later-ventral position in C. fraterna sp. n.).
Distribution. The new species is known from two localities in Central Vietnam (Lâm Đồng and Thừa Thiên Huế Provinces).
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Annamese Range, where the new species occurs. The name is a noun in apposition.
