Type species: Polytoxus inermis Villiers, 1950a . By original designation, four species included.
Diagnosis: Humeral angles flat; parameres long; posterolateral margin of pygophore usually with a protruding process on each side ( Elkins 1956, Villiers 1969). In addition, head rounded, gular region with simple setae; second visible labial segment as long as third visible labial segment; posteromedial surface of the abdominal sternite 8 with processes; apex of paramere flat; and distal portion of endosoma membranous.

V. trap ( MNHN). Villiersella longispinis Villiers, 1966 : one female, GHANA: Tafo , 4.v.1966, Leston / U. V. trap ( MNHN). Villiersella testacea Villiers, 1967 : one male, GHANA: Tafo , 28.iv.1966, Leston/U. V. trap ( MNHN).
