Type information.
Holotype female, CNC. Country of type locality: Brazil.
Diagnosis.
Larsoceraphron is distinguished from all other subgenera of Ceraphron by the following combination of characters: lateral ocelli separated by a wide and foveolate occipital furrow, and laterally and posteriorly surrounded by distinctly large ocellar foveae (Figs 1 C, E View Figure 1 , 2 C, E View Figure 2 , 4 C, E View Figure 4 , 5 E View Figure 5 , 6 A View Figure 6 ); median ocellus with distinctly large and ventrally extended ocellar fovea (Figs 1 C, E View Figure 1 , 2 C, E View Figure 2 , 4 C, E View Figure 4 , 5 E View Figure 5 , 6 A View Figure 6 ); anterior margin of head concave in dorsal view (Figs 1 E View Figure 1 , 2 E View Figure 2 , 4 E View Figure 4 , 5 E View Figure 5 , 6 A View Figure 6 ); distinct occipital carina with lateral part distinctly protruding posteriorly (Figs 1 E View Figure 1 , 2 E View Figure 2 , 4 E View Figure 4 , 5 E View Figure 5 , 6 A View Figure 6 ); head and mesosoma with randomly sized areolae and strongly sculptured (Figs 1 C – G, I View Figure 1 , 2 C – G, I View Figure 2 , 4 C – F, I View Figure 4 , 5 D – F, I View Figure 5 , 6 A, B View Figure 6 ); epomial carina distinct (Figs 1 E, F View Figure 1 , 2 E View Figure 2 , 4 E View Figure 4 , 5 E View Figure 5 , 6 A View Figure 6 ); notauli distinct at least in anterior third and internotaular area distinctly more prominent relative to the scapula (Figs 1 F View Figure 1 , 2 F View Figure 2 , 4 F View Figure 4 , 5 F View Figure 5 , 6 A View Figure 6 ).
