Type materials. Holotype. [ LAOS] ♂, PKK Natl’ Park , Bolikhamsai Province (N18°27’11.9’’, E103°03’40.65’’, Alt.: 429m), 27. vi. 2017 (Bae Y.S., Na S.M., Lee D.J., Ko J.H., Lee T.G.), genitalia slide No. INU-12269 GoogleMaps . Paratype. [ LAOS] 1♀, Ban Tha , Xiengkhouang Province (N19°43’31.40’’, E103°35’25.73’’, Alt.: 1,212m), 26. vii. 2018 (Bae Y.S., Lee D.J., Ko J.H., Lee T.G., Jang C.M., Bayarsaikhan U.), genitalia slide No. INU-12270 GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. Externally, the new species is very similar to T. siamica László, Ronkay & Witt, 2010 . There are three diagnostic characters in wings as follow: medial fascia of forewing more brownish, forewing marginal area brighter, and ground color of hindwing darker than T. siamica . The male genitalia have more distinctive characters in broader costal margin and apically narrower valva and aedeagus with three carinal teeth, while in T. siamica , the saccular process is serrate and not outwardly curved, and aedeagus with two rows of cornuti and only one carinal tooth. Meanwhile, female genitalia have three noticeable differences in the broader ostium bursae, longer ductus bursae and wrinkled corpus bursae.

Description. Adult ( Figure 1a, b View FIGURE 1 ). Length of forewing 6 mm in male, 7 mm in female, wingspan 13 mm in male, 15 mm in female. Antenna bipectinate in male, filiform in female. Head and thorax pale grayish ivory. Ground color of forewing pale grayish ivory; medial fascia dark ocher, inner margin arcuate and outer margin rather wavy; postmedial line gray, undulated; adterminal line gray, unnoticeable; terminal line dark gray with dotted pale grayish ivory line. Ground color of hindwing gray, with a discal dot.

Male genitalia ( Figure 1c–e View FIGURE 1 ). Uncus beak-shaped, tapered, with a band-shaped subscaphium. Tegumen moderate developed. Costal margin of valva well sclerotized, basally thick. Valva elongated, apically round, ampullar structure triangular, blunted end. Juxta shield-shaped. Sacculus well developed, and inwardly curved finger-shaped with dorsally serrate saccular process. Vinculum V-shaped. Aedeagus porrect with three fine carina teeth apically, with two rows of cornuti. The 8 th tergite with H-shaped plate, and anterior margin and both tails weakly sclerotized; 8 th sternite with two triangular patches, and anterior and posterior margin weakly sclerotized.

Female genitalia ( Figure 1f View FIGURE 1 ). Papilae anales short, apophyses posteriores twice length than anteriores. Ostium bursae rather sclerotized, broad, with two lateral rounded lobes fused with the ventral margin. Ductus bursae cylindershaped, with very strongly sclerotized round lobe and acuate sclerite distally. Corpus bursae ovate, wrinkled, with a thorn-shaped signum.

Distribution. Laos (Bolikhamsai, Xiengkhouang).

Etymology. The specific epithet laosiana is an adjective derived from the geographic name “ Laos ”, referring to the country of the type locality.

Remarks. The differences found in both saccular processes are due to genitalia preparation, and the processes are symmetric.
