Habitat. Sandy shore, seagrass bed, and reef flat, intertidal.

Distribution. Indian Ocean to the Philippines.

Indonesia: Timor and Maluku.

Remarks. Only one specimen was collected during this study. The specific characters include the elongated left cheliped palm that is covered by short stiff setae, with a denticulate lower margin continued to the fixed finger, and the sculptured lateral face of the left third pereopod. This is not a very common species in Indonesian waters.
