Habitat. Mud substrate near mangrove or seagrass bed, intertidal.
Distribution. From the Red Sea, and the Indian Ocean to the Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan. Indonesia: Jawa, Kalimantan, Lombok, Sulawesi, and Maluku.
Remarks. This is a very common species in Indonesian waters. The dark brown stripes on the light green ambulatory legs easily separated this species from the congeners.
