CARAPACE ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 , 4a View FIGURE 4 ): dorsal spine curved distally, longer than rostral spine; rostral spine much longer than antennal protopod and without distal spinulation; lateral spines curved ventrally and without spinulation on dorsal margin; 1 pair of anterodorsal setae; 1 pair of posterodorsal setae; ventral margin with 2 anterior plumose setae (soie antérieure) and ca. 9 posterior setae.

ANTENNULE ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 , 4c View FIGURE 4 ): undifferentiated, primary flagellum represented by 4 (2 broad, 2 slender) terminal aesthetascs of unequal length plus 1 terminal seta; accessory flagellum absent.

ANTENNA ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 , 5a View FIGURE 5 ): biramous; protopodal process almost reaching tip of rostral spine; endopod present, more than 50% length of protopod and shorter that exopod; exopod present ca. 50% length of protopod, possessing 3 (1 long subterminal+2 terminal of unequal length) setae.

MAXILLA ( Fig. 7a View FIGURE 7 ): biramous; coxal endite bilobed with 7+4 setae; basial endite bilobed with 5+4 setae; endopod bilobed, with 3+5 (2 subterminal+3 terminal) setae; exopod (scaphognathite) with ca. 14 marginal setae and 1 long distal stout process.

PEREIOPODS: ( Fig. 11c View FIGURE 11 ): present; chela bilobed; gill buds present on first 4 pereiopods.

PLEON ( Fig. 13a View FIGURE 13 , 14a View FIGURE 14 ): 5 pleomeres; pleomere 2 with 1 pair of dorsolateral processes directed anteriorly; pleomere 3–5 with 1 pair of dorsolateral processes directed posteriorly; pleomere 1 with median dorsal process and 5 dorsomedial setae; pleomeres 1–2 each with rounded posterolateral processes and 3–5 each with short posterolateral spine; pleomeres 2–5 each with 1 pair of posterodorsal setae; pleopod buds present, on pleomeres 2–5, undifferentiated, with endopods absent.

TELSON ( Figs. 13a View FIGURE 13 , 14a View FIGURE 14 , 17a View FIGURE 17 ): each fork long, gradually curved distally and not spinulate with 1 large and 1 small lateral spine, dorsomedial spine present; posterior margin with 3 pairs of stout spinulate setae 1 pair of small medial setae, sometime with 3 medial setae.
