Collection information.

USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: 18 individuals from 13 sites. Caught in flight trap from 9 March – 9 September 2020.

Saproxylic habits.

Species of Lathropus occur under bark and in association with bark beetles ( Thomas 1993); however, some evidence suggests the association is incidental and that Lathropus feed on fungi ( Uliana 2003; Thomas 2010).
