Host plants/gall: Q. dal., Q. fr., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q. r. (both generations)—monolocular ovoidal galls (4–5 mm Ø) on the leaves (both generations).

Distribution in Dobrogea: CocoŞ Monastery ( Borcea, 1912), the forests Caraorman and Letea (into Danube Delta)
