Host plant/gall: Q. cer . —ovoid galls in buds, covered by their scales (- s -).

Distribution in Dobrogea: Constanţa city („the lighthouse zone”), forests—Esechioi, Negru Vodӑ CT county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).

World distribution: Austria ( Wachtl, 1880; Dalla Torre & Kieffer, 1910), Hungary ( Ambrus, 1974), Western Ukraine —presumably occurs ( Melika, 2006), Croaţia ( Kwast 2012), Türkiye (Katılmıs & Kiyak 2011; Azmaz & KatılmıŞ, 2017).
