Andricus truncicolus ( Giraud, 1859)

Remark: Through experimental research, the life cycle of A. truncicolus ( Giraud,1859) , a species previously known only from its asexual generation, has been closed ( Sottile et al. 2023).

Host plants/gall: Q. dal., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q. r.—globular monolocular gall (± 6 mm Ø) in accessory buds on branches and trunk (- a -).

Distribution in Dobrogea: Valu lui Traian (Ionescu, 1957,1973), the forests—Canaraua Fetii Natural Reserve,

Dumbrӑveni, Esechioi, Negru Vodӑ, Neptun (Comorova forest), CT county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).
