Host plants/gall: Q. fr., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q. r. (- a -), Q. cer . (- s -)—multilocular gall in lateral buds and on catkins (- a -); grouped galls, like a small grapes, on catkins (- s -).

Distribution in Dobrogea: Babadag forest TL county ( Ionescu & Kierych, 1966), Negureni ( Tudor, 1986), the forests—Canaraua Fetii Natural Reserve, Esechioi, Ion Corvin, Negru Vodӑ, Şipotele, Neptun (Comorova forest),
