Host plants/gall: Q. fr., Q. ped ., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q. r. (- a -), Q. cer . (- s -)—plurilocular globular galls (15–25 mm Ø) on buds, rarely on acorns (- a -); cluster galls on the axle of male catkin (- s -).
