Host plant/gall: Q. ped .—cryptic gall (1.5–2 mm Ø) grouped (2– 3 specimens) into stunted / aborted acorns (- a -).
Distribution in Dobrogea: Neptun seaside resort, Negru Vodӑ forest, CT county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).
World distribution: the Netherlands ( Wiebes-Rijks, 1980), Cehia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Poland — most likely ( Wiebes-Rijks, 1980), Bulgaria (Vassileva-Samnalieva, 1991), Hungary ( Melika et al. 2000), Spain ( Nieves-Aldrey, 2001), Western Ukraine —presumable ( Melika, 2006), Türkiye ( Mutun & Dinç, 2015).
