Liposthenes glechomae ( Linnaeus, 1758)

[syn. Aylax latreillei Kieffer, 1898 ]

Host plants/gall: Nepeta (= Glechoma ) spp. ( N. hederacea L., N. hirsuta L.) ( Lamiaceae )—globular/ovoidal gall ( 6–20 mm Ø) prominent on both sides of the leaves.

Distribution in Dobrogea: Hagieni forest Natural Reserve CT county ( Şchiopu, 1980; Tudor, 1986), Ciucurova village TL county (author, a new record).
