Notes.

When describing Vanilla rojasiana, Hoehne (1941) listed two specimens ( T. Rojas 5082 and T. Rojas 5082 A) from different gatherings according to his collection dates ( April 1927 and May 1927), which are considered syntypes. We found two specimens corresponding to 5082 at SP. Hereby, we select SP 002433 as lectotype, as it bears a dissection of the flower.
