Basionym : Eschweilera integricalyx S.A. Mori, Fl. Neotrop. Monogr. View in CoL 21(2): 210. 1990.— Type : Colombia. Chocó : Jequedo , 41 km W of Las Animas on Pan American Hwy. (under construction), ca. 10 km E of Río Pato, alt. 220 m, 12 Jan 1979 (fl), Gentry & Renteria 24106 (lectotype: NY 00000801 !, designated here; isotypes: AAU!, HUA, MO-313139 !, MO-313140 !, NY 00000800 !) .

In the original publication ( Mori 1990), a holotype and an isotype were cited in NY ; however, as no particular specimen was designated as holotype, the lectotype including barcode is designated here.
