Remark. – The new combinations of several species of Cardiophorus and Dicronychus established by Douglas et al. (2018) under the genus Coptostethus Wollaston, 1854 on the base of similitudes on the sclerites of bursa copulatrix are not accepted. We consider Coptostethus Wollaston, 1854 a typical genus endemic to Canary Islands including all apterous species with a typical arcuated habitus and the similitudes on the sclerites of bursa copulatrix anatomical convergences.
