Stomach contents of G. morhua consisted mostly of crabs ( Cancer spp. and unclassified crabs), pandalids, and other decapods (Figure 3; Table S3). The next largest identified contributors in G. morhua diets were M. bilinearis , clupeiforms, and H. americanus . The sample size of G. morhua stomachs was not sufficient to assess potential sources of diet variation (e.g., depth and longitude) using CCA or Spearman rank correlation.
