Collection information.
USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: eight individuals from eight sites. Caught in flight trap from 21 April – 30 June 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern North America south to Central America.
Saproxylic habits.
Emerged from loblolly pine, water oak, and sweetgum in bottomland forests ( Ulyshen and Hanula 2009 a); adults occur in rotten deadwood, tree hollows, and under bark of various trees, including beech and magnolia (Magnolia L. ( Magnoliaceae )) ( Blatchley 1928; Kissinger 1955; Ciegler 2010).
