Distribution. Hebei, Hubei, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Shandong.
Note. Two Odontothrips species in the previous checklist (Mirab-balou et al., 2011a), Odontothrips qinlingensis Feng & Zhao, 1994 and Odontothrips yinggensis Feng & Zhang, 2000 synonymized with O. loti by Hu et al. (2012b).
