After the last checklist (Mirab-balou et al., 2011a), 18 species and five genera have been added to the fauna of China. In addition, Caliothrips indicus (Bagnall, 1913) was a misidentification of C. quadrifasciatus , and Caliothrips fasciatus (Pergande, 1895) was deleted from the last list (Wang et al., 2022). Therefore, Panchaetothripinae includes 47 species belonging to 18 following genera.
