Subfamily Thripinae Stephens, 1829 View in CoL
After the last checklist (Mirab-balou et al., 2011a), 110 species and 29 genera have been added to the fauna of China. In addition, the following taxa were deleted from the last checklist: Pezothrips frontalis (Uzel, 1895) (see Mirab-balou & Tong, 2012b), Frankliniella pallida (Uzel, 1895) (see Wang et al., 2019c), Frankliniella tritici (Fitch, 1855) (see Wang et al., 2019c) and Taeniothrips microglandus Han, 1990 (because of a mis-spelling of glanduculus, not a validly described species). Sixteen taxa were synonymized, and 11 taxa were transferred to the other as new combinations (see the following notes under each taxon). Therefore, Thripinae includes 303 species belonging to 80 following genera.
+ Genus Ajothrips Bhatti, 1967
