Distribution. Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Hubei, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Sichuan, Taiwan.

Note. Four Liothrips species, i.e. L. chinensis Han , L. diwasabiae Han , L. sanxiaensis Han and L. sinarundinariae Han synonymized with L. vaneeckei by Dang et al. (2024b).

Distribution. Taiwan (Wang & Lin, 2020).
