Subfamily Phlaeothripinae Uzel, 1895 View in CoL
After the last checklist (Mirab-balou et al., 2011a), 99 species and 11 genera have been added to the fauna of China. In addition, the following taxa were deleted from the last checklist: Gigantothrips vanapennis Moulton, 1928; Hoplothrips flavipes (Bagnall, 1910) (misidentification, see Mound & Wang, 2020); Mesothrips alluaudi Vuillet, 1914 and Mesothrips manii Ananthakrishnan, 1972 (see Dang et al., 2024a); Liothrips invisus (Cott, 1956) ; and Liothrips luzonensis (Priesner, 1939) (not valid species). Nineteen taxa were synonymized, and seven taxa were transferred to the other as new combinations (see the following notes under each taxon). Therefore, Phlaeothripinae includes 291 species belonging to 68 following genera.
