USA: Georgia (new state record *): Clarke Co.: a single individual from one site. Caught in flight trap from 25 March – 9 April 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern North America, transcontinental in north.
Saproxylic habits.
Develop within decaying polypores of parasitic fungi, including Inocutis dryophila (Berk.) Fiasson and Niemelä ( Hymenochaetaceae ) growing on oaks ( Hinson 2016) and Inonotus obliquus (Fr.) Pila ́ t growing on birch ( Bunyard 2015).
