Material : 1 ♀, Kenya, Coastal, Rukinga Est., 490 m, 3°42′20′′S 36°46′35′′E, 23.xi.2010, leg. D. Agassiz & M. Ngugi GoogleMaps , genitalia slide Mey 45/21 ( MfN); 3 ♀, same locality, 8.xii.2011, leg. D. Agassiz & M. Ngugi GoogleMaps , genitalia slide Mey 53/21 (coll. Agassiz).
Remarks: The species differs from all other African Homadaula species by the dark brown hindwings together with the small size of the adults displaying a maximal wingspan of only 9 mm ( Fig. 28 View Figure 28 ). The membranous, short henia in the female genitalia is another separating character ( Fig. 29 View Figure 29 ). The species is certainly undescribed, but should be described later at a time when the currently missing male is available.
