Like subsp. (a) but basal leaves gradually narrowed into a petiole 1-2 times as long as the lamina; involucre c. 5 mm, arachnoid-lanate, sometimes glabrescent; ligules 10-15, 7-11 mm. Grassy places and scrub. N. & C. parts of U.S.S.R.
