Stems usually 10-50 cm, erect. Leaves glabrous above, greyish-arachnoid-villous beneath, the upper not exceeding the inflorescence, the lower ovate- to broadly lanceolate, cuneate at base, gradually narrowed into petiole. Inflorescence usually a compact corymb. 2« = 52, 54. Almost throughout the range of the species.
