Stems 2-12 cm, not winged, densely leafy. Leaves sessile, 3-5(-12) mm wide, linear to linear-lanceolate, usually entire, rarely obscurely dentate. Capitula 2-3 x up to 2-5 cm, solitary, ovoid. Involucral bracts without apical appendages. 2/z = 52. Mountain rocks and screes. • E. Alps, W. Carpathians. Au Cz Ge It Ju Po.
