Stems 5-15 cm, branched, glandular-pubescent. Leaves linear, glandular-pubescent. Peduncles c. 4 cm, slender, axillary, erecto-patent, becoming erect just below the capitulum. Involucre 8-9 mm, glabrous; bracts mostly scarious, obtuse. Ligules c. 1 mm. Dry, sandy places. S.E. Spain (near Almeria). Hs. (North Africa.)
