Like subsp. (a) but leaves with wider, elliptical lobes; peduncles more or less davate and somewhat arcuate; receptacle more elongate in fruit; receptacular scales somewhat wider, abruptly acuminate; ligules up to 11 x 4 mm; tubular florets 3-3-5 mm. Waste places. S. Europe.
