Slightly pubescent annual. Stem 10-70 cm,usually branched. Basal leaves oblanceolate,dentate,theupper pinnatisect, with linear segments 0-5- 1 mmwide. Capitula 25-30 mm in diameter. Involucralbracts7-10mm,linear-lanceolate, the outer ovate,shorterthanflorets.Involucel-tube 2-4-3-3 mm;corona 0-7- 1- 3 mm.Calyx-setae 5 -12mm, onstipe about as long as corona. Corolla 12-15 mm,slightlylonger in marginal thancentral florets, purple. Rockyplaces. •Albania N. W. & C. Greece. Al Gr.
