( H. lactucella / pilosella / praealtum ).
Like H. lactucella but with larger capitula. Differs from H. pilosella in having 3-6(-9) capitula per flowering stem, from ZZ. praealtum in its larger capitula, and from H. x auriculiforme and H. x schultesii in its shorter peduncles. • N.C. Europe, extending eastwards to C. Russia. Cz Ge Ho?Po Rs (C, W).
