Annual, usually with short glandular hairs throughout; stem up to 80 cm, robust, rigid. Lower leaves lyrate-pinnatifid, the upper linear-lanceolate, entire. Peduncles rigid, often not more than twice as long as involucre. Greece, Jugoslavia, Romania.
