Perennial. Stems 30-40 cm, shortly paniculately branched above. Leaves glabrous, green; lower 2-pinnatisect. Capitula solitary. Involucre 14-17 x 10-14 mm, ovoid-globose; bracts with 5 indistinct veins; appendages with 3-4 fimbriae on each side, without an apical spine. Florets pink. Pappus about as long as achene.
