Emended description. Structure. Pedicel globular. Third segment of rostrum slightly shorter than 2 nd one, weakly turned upwards.
Coloration ( Figs 1–5 View FIGURES 1–6 ). Generally light yellow to yellowish light brown, with dark brown to black claws and apices of leg spines. Metope with black traces of larval sensory pits between its lateral margins and sublateral carinae. Sometimes metope and coryphe densely covered with black dots. Coryphe and pronotum pale at middle line. Scapus sometimes black. Pedicel sometimes dark. Apex of rostrum and 3 rd segment and flagellum of antenna black. Pronotum sometimes with black traces of larval sensory pits. Fore femora and tibiae sometimes dark brown. Hind femora and tibiae sometimes with longitudinal dark brown stripes. Abdominal tergites black. Abdominal sternites with sparse black dots around some setae. Gonoplac margins dark brown to black.
Female terminalia ( Figs 11–15 View FIGURES 11–15 ). Hind margin of sternite VII weakly concave medially ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 11–15 ). Anal tube elongate and flat, nearly twice as long as wide medially, weakly narrowing and truncate apically (in dorsal view) ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 11–15 ). Anal column long, 1/3 of anal tube length. Gonoplacs large, each with smooth lateral transverse carina. Median field of posterior connective laminae of gonapophyses IX with a large single lobe ( Figs 11, 12 View FIGURES 11–15 ). Proximal part of the laminae convex in lateral view. Distal parts of the laminae curved at obtuse angle in ventral view. Lateral fields of the laminae lobe-shaped, large. Anterior connective lamina of gonapophyse VIII wide, with three apical teeth and four lateral teeth bearing keels; plate of lamina covered with denticles and the keels of two lower lateral teeth serrate ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 11–15 ). Endogonocoxal lobe covered with setae. Endogonocoxal process with a simple apical lobe covered with setae. Gonocoxa VIII with weakly lobe-shaped straight hind margin, with sparse setae. Gonospiculum bridge large, nearly triangular in lateral view.
Total length. Males—3.0– 4.3 mm. Females— 3.5–4.9 mm.
Fifth instar nymph ( Figs 6 View FIGURES 1–6 , 16–20 View FIGURES 16–18 View FIGURE 19 View FIGURE 20 ). Structure. Rostrum surpassing hind coxae, with 2 nd and 3 rd segments are nearly equal in length, 3 rd one narrowing apically. Hind tibia with two lateral spines in its distal half and eight spines apically. First and second metatarsomeres with long hair-shaped setae ventrally. First metatarsomere with two lateroapical and two intermediate spines. Metope with 58 sensory pits arranged in two rows between its lateral margins and sublateral carinae—29 pits on left and right side accordingly ( Figs 19 View FIGURE 19 , 20 View FIGURE 20 ). Pronotum with 20–21 sensory pits arranged in three rows in every discal-paradiscal group on each side dorsally and with 7–8 pits on each paranotal lobe—20 and 8 on left side and 21 and 7 on right side accordingly ( Figs 16, 17 View FIGURES 16–18 ). Mesonotum with eight pits in every median paradiscal group ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 16–18 ). Metanotum with four pits in every median paradiscal group. Forewing pads each with six (3 + 3) pits in two rows. Tergite III with four pits, tergites IV–VI with six pits, tegite VII with five pits, tergite VIII with three pits, and tergite IX with a single pit laterally on each side ( Figs 16, 18 View FIGURES 16–18 ). Abdominal segment VII without wax-pore plates. Abdominal segment VIII with two wax-pore plates ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 16–18 ).
Coloration ( Figs 6 View FIGURES 1–6 , 20 View FIGURE 20 ). Generally yellowish white or sandy. Metope between sublateral carinae covered with dense dark brown dots. Rostrum with black distal half. Third segment of antenna and flagellum black. Paranotal lobes of pronotum covered with dense dark brown dots, each with large black spot below eye. Sensory pits each with dark brown stripe inside below seta. Mesonotum with pair of large black spots on lateral carinae. Forewing pads with dark brown spots. Femora and tibiae with longitudinal dark brown stripes. Fore and middle tarsi dark brown to black. Third metatarsomeres dark brown to black.Apices of leg spines and claws black. Abdominal sternites IV–VII with large dark brown spots laterally.
Total length. 2.2–2.7 mm.
