Antennae: Length: Scape 1.3 mm; Funiculus: segment one 0.35 mm, two 0.3 mm, three 0.15 mm, four 0.15 mm, five 0.1 mm, six 0.1 mm, seven 0.15 mm, club 0.6 mm; funicle 1.3 mm; scape as long as funicle; clothed with narrow, elongate, ochroleucus scales, few erect testaceous setalike scales near apex of each segment; club elongate, compact, oval, segments 1–3 subequal in length, 4 short, clothed with ochroleucus velvety pile, and few erect setae; club longer than funicular segments 4–7, but not as long as segments 3–7. Thorax: Length: 1.5 mm. Width: 2.0 mm. 0.75 as broad as long; disc with margins subparallel, gradually rounded to constriction; feebly convex in lateral view; disc with median carina indistinct; pleuron subimpressed behind constriction; clothed dorsally and laterally with narrow, elongate, ochroleucus scales; anterolaterally and anteroventrally with macula of white scales; disc with feeble anterocentral macula of white scales; base sinuate, with indication of basal carina; median basal declivity to scutellum; mesosternal intercoxal process prominent, clothed with ochroleucus scales; scutellum large, longer than broad, clothed with white scales; mesepimeron densely clothed with clavate, white scales dorsally, and ochroleucus scales along ventral margin; mesepisternum and metepisternum clothed with clavate, ochroleucus scales; metasternum with lateral convex nodule proximal to metacoxae. Elytra: Length: 2.9 mm. Striae narrow, of moderate depth with small, narrow, elongate, ochroleucus scales; base sinuate; humeri moderately prominent, angular and rounded; scutellar declivity; intervals flat, densely clothed with narrow, elongate, ochroleucus scales, with a white fascia across intervals 1–6, distad of base; feeble fascia of white scales at midpoint; interval 1 with vitta of white scales distad of midpoint to apex; crosshatched setae short, erect, testaceous. Legs: Length of hind femur 2.4 mm, tooth mediumsized, acute; all femora approximately same length; pro and mesofemoral tooth small, acute; all femora moderately clavate, base moderately robust; hind femur lacking or with feeble proximolateral sulcus from base to club; all femora clothed with narrow, elongate, ochroleucus scales in basal two thirds, with white scales in apical third; pro and mesofemur lacking white macula at base; tibiae sinuate; pro and mesouncus large longer than tarsal claw, metauncus as long as tarsal claw; lobe of tarsal segment 3 almost as long as segment 4. Abdomen: Sternite 1 not as long as 2 behind coxal cavity, with broad median shallow declivity; sternites 3 and 4 equal in length; sternite 5 as long as 3 and 4 combined; sternite 1 with lateral macula of ochroleucus scales; sternites 2–4 with lateral macula of clavate, white scales, all sterna invested medially with small, clavate, ochroleucus scales. Pygidium: Small , clothed with elongate, white, setalike scales. Genitalia: Median lobe of aedeagus 0.9 mm long; 0.3 mm wide, margins parallel of even thickness past bend, arcing down abruptly to median apex somewhat bluntly rounded, and deflected to right; apodeme 1.0 mm long ( Figs. 44–46 View Figs ).
Distribution. China: Yunnan Province, Xishuangbanna, 750–800 m, 30 May 1958, S Wang.
Remarks. This species similar to C. marioi n. sp., but can be separated by shorter rostrum, lack of a cross shaped macula on the prothoracic dorsum, short or feeble vitta on interval one of elytra, and male genitalia. This species is named in honor of senior author’s granddaughter Krissa.
