Key to Limonium artelariae and morphologically related species from SE Crete

1. Spikelets to 4.5 mm long; inner spikelet bract to 3.8 mm long..................... L. cornarianum

2. Plants 48–110 cm tall; leaves to 210 × 43 mm, broadly spathulate, more or less abruptly tapering into petiole (e.g. Fig. 4A ); inner spikelet bracts broadly obovate, 3.8–4.5 mm wide................. L. artelariae

– Plants usually to 45 cm tall; leaves to 100 × 18 mm, oblanceolate to oblong-obovate, gradually tapering into petiole (e.g. Fig. 4C ); inner spikelet bracts elliptic to oblong-obovate, 2.7–4 mm wide.. L. hierapetrae
