Lectotype (Jacobs in Blumea 12: 505. 1965): Herb. Hermann 1: 35; 2: 58, No. 210 (BM).

Current name: Capparis zeylanica L. ( Capparaceae ).

Note: Jacobs indicated Herb. Hermann material ( BM) as type and, although there is material in two volumes, it appears to have been part of a single gathering. Consequently, this is accepted as a formal typification (Art. 9.15).
