Syntypes (2) in MZHF ( Silfverberg 1987). Type locality: Sitkha [Sitka] Island, Alaska. North American distribution: Canada: BC. USA: AK, ID, OR, WA. Biology: Active in the winter months only; known from a variety of habitats but usually taken on carrion.
