Phaulacantha metamelas Diakonoff, 1973 View in CoL , Zool. Monogr. Rijksmus. Nat. Hist. 1: 188. Type locality: Borneo, “East Borneo (Tabang, Kalimantan, Bengen River )”. Holotype (♂): NCB.

Distribution outside Thailand: East Borneo ( Diakonoff 1973).

Distribution in Thailand: N–– Chiang Mai Prov. (Doi Suthep-Pui N.P.), S–– Nakhon Si Thammarat Prov. (Khao Nan N.P.), and W–– Kanchanaburi Prov. (Thong Pha Phum N.P.) ( Kawabe 1989; Pinkaew 2007; KKIC).

Host plants: Unknown.

Remarks: Specimens from Thailand were collected in hill evergreen forest at 930– 1,300 m.
