Current status: a synonym of Ixodes kerguelenensis and its original name ( Wilson 1970). The current status of Ixodes canisuga kerguelenensis , as Ixodes kerguelenensis , was established by Zumpt (1952).
Comments: Guglielmone et al. (2014) list the holotype as syntype.
