Type host: not stated

Current status: a synonym of Hyalommma asiaticum and its original name, as discussed in Apanaskevich & Horak (2010), who stated that this tick was described from an unknown number of males, but Schulze & Schlottke (1929) also described the female of Hyalomma asiaticum .
